Sameh Zidan is a certified IFRS lecturer with over 15 years of experience in financial accounting. Sameh Zidan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ain Shams University in 2003, a Diploma in Financial Accounting from Ain Shams University in 2019, and a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA. Sameh Zidan also has a high level of professional experience, having worked as a financial manager in the oil sector since 2012. Sameh Zidan has over 15 years of experience in financial accounting, and over 10 years of experience in IFRS. Sameh Zidan has excellent skills in financial accounting, and is able to teach and explain concepts clearly and concisely. The Diploma program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and apply the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The program objectives include:
- Understanding how to use the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to prepare financial statements with practical application.
- Knowing the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and how it sets standards.
- Studying the basic requirements of the International Financial Reporting Standards for preparing financial statements from the conditions of recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure.
- Evaluating and calculating transactions that affect current assets, current liabilities, non-current assets, non-current liabilities, income, and expenses in accordance with IFRS.
Specifically, the program will cover the following topics:

The IFRS diploma contains 34 international standards, divided into standards related to the elements of financial statements, standards related to disclosure, and standards related to measurement.
The exams are held twice a year: in June and December, on the second Friday of June and December.

Definitely, the diploma will increase your academic achievement as an accountant, as it is the basis of accounting, so you must be familiar with international standards, whether you are a financial accountant, a cost accountant, or an internal or external auditor.
It is essential to review the curriculum carefully, and more important than studying is solving the questions related to each standard you study. It is preferable to refer to previous exams and practice on them.
The duration of the course is 4 and a half months, held twice a week: one day for explanation and one day for solving questions. The dates are Friday at 4 pm for explanation and Tuesday at 7 pm for solving questions. The lecture takes from two and a half to three hours, with a break during the lecture. Also, I will send the lecture video to the group.
